HERE'S WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO!

INDEPENDENT ARTISTS OF VARIOUS GENRES OFTEN BELIEVE THE ONLY WAY TO FIND SUCCESS IN THEIR CREATIVE FIELD IS TO SEEK CONTRACTUAL DEALS WITH MAINSTREAM MUSIC, TV, FASHION, AND ENTERTAINMENT COMPANIES. AS A RESULT, MOST ARTISTS STRUGGLE ECONOMICALLY TO MAKE A DECENT LIVING FOR THEMSELVES. WE DISAGREE WITH THIS POPULAR IDEOLOGY, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, WE HAVE DECIDED TO CHALLENGE IT! WE BELIEVE THE BUSINESSES INDIE ARTISTS TRULY NEED SHOULD BE CREATED BY ARTISTS. AND NOW THEY DO NOT HAVE TO DO IT ALONE.

Educate

Artists United provides educational resources in online training/seminars and hosting in-person training/seminars/conferences. Here are just a few of the main focal points we teach and practice as an organization:

  • Entrepreneurship

  • Deployment versus Employment

  • Collaborative Economics

  • Commonwealth (purpose/functionality)

  • Chamber of Commerce (purpose/functionality)

  • Creating Value from Creativity

  • Trademarks, Patents, and Copyrights

Secure Artistic Longevity

By securing the art careers of artists, we secure artistic longevity for the entire creative community. Our organization helps artists achieve meaningful and fulfilling futures by leveraging their creativity in the marketplace. At Artists United, we understand that no two artists are alike. Likewise, there are varying perspectives concerning what success is. The economy Artists United is building is a microcosm within the greater society to help artists do the following as it lines up with their pre-established goals:
